Basic Dance (Ages 3-4)
Basic Dance is for ages 3 and 4. Does your little one love to move and dance? This class will give your tiny dancer a basic introduction to ballet steps and positions, while enhancing their motor skills and coordination with fun exercises in music qualities and rhythms, and storytelling with movement. Dance attire is required, and ballet shoes are a must. Skirts are optional. Hair should be pulled up.

Ballet 1 (Ages 5-8)
Introduce your young dancer to the art of ballet! This class will enhance your child's coordination, balance and flexibility with the teaching of basic ballet positions, steps, and terminology through standing barre work and simple center floor exercises. Your child will also enjoy simple and fun exercises in creative dance and music exploration. Dance attire is required, and ballet shoes are a must. Skirts are optional. Hair should be in a low bun.

Baton 1 (Ages 5-8)
Baton 1 is for the first- or second-year baton twirling student. This recreational class teaches primary age students to control the movement of their baton, while learning to combine body movements. Twirling at this level is a fun hobby. Dance attire is required, and ballet shoes or jazz shoes, or baton shoes are a must. Skirts are optional. Hair should be in a low bun. We will allow your twirler to borrow a baton during class to make sure they enjoy the class. If your twirling students plans to continue, they can purchase their own baton through us.

Baton 2 (Ages 9+) Team Prep
Baton 2 is for the primary/elementary age twirling student. This class teaches twirlers to control the movement of their baton, while learning to combine body movement and releasing the baton adding excitement to their performance. Twirling at this level is performed as a hobby for the more adventurous students. Our Summer program includes preparation for competition teams. Dance attire is required and sleeveless is preferred. Ballet, jazz or baton shoes are a must. Low profile gym shoes are acceptable. Hair should be in a low bun.

Tap 1 & 2
This tap class is designed for beginners who are interested in learning to tap but will also include student that have a little bit of experience! It will teach musicality and rhythm skills through tap technique and combinations. This is a fun and energetic class that will have your feet moving! No previous experience needed. Please wear dance attire including leotard and tights and of course tap shoes are required. Hair should be in a low bun. We have a few tap shoes in stock to purchase, or you can contact All About Dancewear in Vandalia.

Jazz (Ages 5-9)
Students will warm up and learning basic jazz technique which includes isolations, arm and head moves in basic patterns that are fun and challenging. Traveling exercises across the floor are geared to develop coordination and flow of movement. This class focuses on developing strong lines, strengthening the dancer’s technique, and understanding the body’s center of movement. Dance attire is required, and jazz or ballet shoes are a must. Skirts are optional. Hair should be in a low bun.

Acrobats (All ages & Levels)
Tumbling movements for our primary-junior students will include movements such as rolls, cartwheels, backbends, and beyond on the floor mats. The acrobat students will learn to control their bodies while learning strength, control and will learn at their level. A leotard must be worn for this class. Footless tights or shorts are permitted. Students must be barefoot. Hair should be in a low bun.

Hip Hop 1 (Age 5-11)
Hip Hop Dance is a style of movement characterized by bounces and rocks, executed to Hip Hop music. This is a fun energetic class for our dancers. We prefer that our students wear a leotard and may also include sweatpants or loose-fitting shorts. Gym shoes with low tread are a great choice for this class. Please secure hair away from your face.

Tap (Adult + Jr/Sr)
Have you always wanted to take a tap class but feel like it’s too late to start? Although many dancers begin at an early age, we believe it’s never too late to learn. Our adult tap class is available for students who are beginners, former dancers who want to return to dance, and adults who are looking for a fun, new way to dance. These tap classes offer something for everyone, whether you’re a young adult or senior citizen. We will start you with the very first steps of tap if you’re a beginner. If you have previous dance experience, we can modify combinations to fit your skill level. Adults may wear any comfortable clothing that is easy to move in and will need tap shoes.

Consider this class as fun fitness through dance! These classes make it enjoyable to work out while learning several dance techniques. Classes are offered from beginners to advanced and no previous experience is required. Be a part of a fun adult group that came together for the love of dance and friendship. Dance attire is recommended however, we want you to feel comfortable. Sweats, capris and t-shirts are permitted. Jazz or ballet shoes should be worn.

We will focus on ballet technique through a professional class progression. Barre work, center and across the floor exercises are designed to better your technique, as well as performance quality and confidence. With quality and knowledgeable teaching, and an encouraging environment, these classes will be a perfect fit for those who aspire to improve their dancing. Dance attire is required, and ballet shoes are a must. Skirts are optional. Hair should be in a low bun.

Pointe (Ages 13+) Ballet Included
These classes are perfect for the ballerina who is wanting to take their Ballet technique to the next level. They use the Ballet technique that is taught within their normal classes and push it further to be able to execute the same techniques on pointe. Just like the professional Ballerinas, our students get to experience what it’s like to not only dance in pointe shoes, but to gain confidence in their normal Ballet technique as well. Dancers must attend the Mandatory Ballet 3 prior to class so they are warmed up to prevent injuries. Dance attire is required, and ballet shoes are a must. Skirts are optional. Hair should be in a low bun.
