Ballet 3
A dancer placed in Level 3 has a broad understanding of the placement of the body and the technical foundations of classical ballet as outlined in the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. A knowledge of the fundamentals of movement and the coordination required to execute steps in a technically correct manner will offer the dancer a greater opportunity to express artistic freedom in the art form.

This level is best suited for dancers age 10 and up, but dependent on ability. At this level, class should be attended three times per week.

Creative Dance/Pre-Ballet
This creative dance/pre-ballet class focuses on basic elements of movement, coordination, and strength building that are the foundations of dance in a fun, playful yet structured class. This class is best suited for dancers age 3 - 4 years old.

During this class, we recommend the parent stay to observe the child until the child is comfortable being left alone in the class. Further information will be given upon registration.

Ballet 1
The Ballet 1 class is an introduction to the fundamental positions, movements, and directions of movement in classical ballet as outlined in the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. Students will be introduced to the structure of class including proper placement and alignment of the body throughout exercises thoughtfully designed to build strength in the growing dancers.

This level is best suited for dancers age 5 To 7, but dependent on ability.

Conditioning for Dancers
Join Peggy Patterson, dancer and NCPT certified Pilates instructor in this class to lengthen and strengthen! Peggy’s passion for music and dance led her to begin teaching fitness and dance classes to people of all ages and abilities in her late teens. She continued her studies of dance and kinesiology at Santa Rosa junior college and Sonoma Sate University where she learned the basic principles of the Pilates Method and found several gifted mentors there that helped shape her teaching style.
Peggy has worked with people of all ages and abilities- from competitive athletes, dancers, working moms, and active agers. This practice can be adapted to the abilities of any person making it versatile and FUN!

A progression from Ballet 1, Ballet 2 continues to expand the student's knowledge of properly executed positions and movements of classical ballet, expanding the strength and technical ability possible at this age of development as outlined in the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum.

Attendance in two classes per week is required at this level.

This level is best suited for dancers age 7 and up, but dependent on ability and prior training experience.

This class is designed to strengthen those dancers preparing to go en pointe as well as those who are already en pointe. Some conditioning exercises are included into this class, which focuses on a healthy, intelligent approach to pointework that will support the more technical and artistic endeavors in classical ballet classes.

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet
A younger dancer placed in this level has a broad understanding of the placement of the body and the technical foundations of classical ballet as outlined in the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. A knowledge of the fundamentals of movement and the coordination required to execute steps in a technically correct manner that will offer the dancer a greater opportunity to express artistic freedom in the art form. Pointework is included and dependent upon each individual dancers' strength and at the teacher's discretion.

As a dancer progresses, This level focuses on achieving refined artistry and technique in classical ballet, with an emphasis on individual expression and growth.

This level is best suited for dancers age 12 and up, but dependent on ability. At this level, class should be attended A MINIMUM of three times per week.
