Ballet/Jazz K-2nd
In Ballet/Jazz, students will learn elements of Ballet and Jazz to build a solid foundation of beginning terminology and technique. These two dance genres, though stylistically different, complement each other by strengthening technique in each. We use a mix of both classical music and current upbeat music. Students will perform one dance style in our Nutcracker and the other in our Spring Show.

Dress Code: Pink tights, black leotard or black tight tank/booty shorts or short skirt, pink ballet slippers.

This is a fun and energetic movement form where students learn to dance and perform basic jazz technique. Flexibility, jumps and isolations are taught to create a stylized form of dance that draws from a number of different inspirations including Hip Hop. Music and dance steps are age appropriate.

Dress Code: Tank top or T-shirt, athletic pants, white tennis shoes. Please no outdoor tennis shoes and carry in clean white Hip Hop shoes.

This is a high energy class combining street dance with funk and jazz. Hip-Hop teaches, coordination, strength, flexibility, rhythm, and endurance. Music and dance steps are age appropriate.

This is a fun and energetic movement form where students learn to dance and perform basic jazz technique. Flexibility, jumps, and isolations are taught to create a stylized form of dance that draws from a number of different inspirations including Contemporary-Modern where students will grasp a better understanding of parallel and turned out, with a strong focus on the spine and its relationship to every movement we do. This is an artistically creative class that encourages an exploration of movement. Students will perform one dance style in our Nutcracker and the other in our Spring Show.

Dress Code: Skin colored tights (no nylons), tight tank/t-shirt/leotard and booty shorts, tan jazz shoes.
Male Dancers: White or black T-shirt, Black jazz or athletic pants, black jazz shoes.

The use of poms will sharpen a dancer’s use of their upper body to create clean and precise movements while incorporating other dance styles like jazz & hip hop. We use current upbeat music. Poms will only perform in the Spring Performance.

Our company creates extra opportunities for those who have a passion for dance and brings a meaningful message to the community thru the art of dance. We bring our performances to the schools, daycares, and/or nursing homes in our community. Company members can sign up for Competition.

In Spring of 2025, we will be performing “Cinders” an anti-bully ballet at Lakeland Union High School on Friday, March 28.

Students enrolled in Dance C will continue to advance their ballet knowledge while developing the strength needed for their pointe work. They are also eligible for our Performance Company & Competition
Dance C class meets 2x per week. One day will focus on technique and on the other day we will learn various styles of choreography after a full warm up.
Dance C dancers are able to join our Performance Company & Competition groups.
Studio director/owner approval is needed to enroll.

Students enrolled in Dance D will work on their ballet knowledge while developing the strength needed for future pointe work. They are also eligible for our Performance Company & Competition.
Dance D meets 1x a week for technique plus picks ANY additional class on our schedule for 1st-3rd graders. After you made your class selections, we will have to adjust your tuition payment manually to reflect the $220 price since it includes the extra class per payment.
Dance D dancers are able to join our Performance Company & Competition groups.

Students enrolled in Dance B will continue to advance their ballet knowledge while developing the strength needed for their pointe work. They are also eligible for our Performance Company & Competition
Dance B class meets 2x per week. One day will focus on technique and on the other day we will learn various styles of choreography after a full warm up.
Dance B dancers are able to join our Performance Company & Competition groups.
Pointe work is optional, however, if a student chooses to do pointe they must do it all season to perform on pointe.

Dance A class meets 2x per week. One day will focus on technique and on the other day we will learn various styles of choreography after a full warm up. We may add addition time on Thursday's class if needed for extra rehearsal.
Dance A dancers are able to join our Performance Company & Competition groups.
Studio director/owner approval is needed to enroll.
Pointe work is optional, however, if a student chooses to do pointe they must do it all season to perform on pointe.
