Acro A 7-9yrs
Acro is a genre of dance which incorporates elements of gymnastics, tumbling, and contortion. Students learn Acrobatic tricks such as cartwheels, walkovers and partner tricks. This level is open to students aged 7-10yrs who have 0-2yrs experience in Acro or Gymnastics. It is required that dancers in this class take another style as Acro is not a dance style on its own.
Class Attire: Black (or ballet) bodysuit, footless tights or leggings, and bare feet.

This class will work on flexibility and strengthening to help dancers achieve their personal bests in more complicated moves and tricks. Proper strength and flexibility training reduces unbalanced strains on the body resulting in injuries. This class will help support dancers in safe dance practice.

Mini Movers Level I Ages 2-3yrs
This 30 minute, parent participation class gets your mini mover jumping, clapping, dancing and tumbling. Class focus is on foundational movement skills for dance and acrobatics and also teaches group learning skills to assist your child in getting ready for pre-school/kindergarten learning environments. Participating parent/family member must be comfortable sitting or kneeling on the floor and physically assisting their child with rolls and other tumbling skills.
This 30 minute, parent participation class gets your mini mover jumping, clapping, dancing and tumbling. Class focus is on foundational Jazz and Ballet technique that will appeal to both boys and girls and also teaches group learning skills to assist your child in getting ready for pre-school/kindergarten learning environments. Our goal is to encourage your child's love of movement and learning all while setting them up for success in their social relationships, cognitive development and physical development.
Students must be 4 years old by October 1st and open to participating on their own without a parent to enrol (we understand sometimes it takes a few classes to be able to do the class independently).
The Fall Term cost includes tuition and a costume rental fee for our Christmas recital on December 9th, 2023.

Open Ballet Pointe and Pointe Prep (3 of 3)
Royal Academy of Dance Intermediate Foundation Year 2 syllabus class (to convert to Intermediate Ballet). Dancers planning to do exams must take the third class, "Open" Ballet.
Required female uniform is a wide strap black leotard. Any black leotard is acceptable for class, but wide straps will be required for any exams. Dancers may wear the matching skirts for the more contemporary variation or a tutu for the classical variation
Required male uniform is: grey stirrup tights, white short-sleeve or sleeveless leotard, white socks, dance belt.

Acro is a genre of dance which incorporates elements of gymnastics, tumbling, and contortion. Students learn Acrobatic tricks such as cartwheels, walkovers and partner tricks. This level is open to students aged 7-10yrs who have 0-2yrs experience in Acro or Gymnastics. It is required that dancers in this class take another style as Acro is not a dance style on its own.
Class Attire: Black (or ballet) bodysuit, footless tights or leggings, and bare feet.

Class focus is on foundational Jazz and Ballet technique that will appeal to both boys and girls and also teaches group learning skills to assist your child in getting ready for pre-school/kindergarten learning environments. Our goal is to encourage your child's love of movement and learning all while setting them up for success in their social relationships, cognitive development and physical development.
Students must be 4 years old by October 1st and open to participating on their own without a parent to enrol (we understand sometimes it takes a few classes to be able to do the class independently).
The Fall Term cost includes tuition and a costume rental fee for our Christmas recital on December 9th, 2023.
Remembrance Day all Saturday classes will have a make-up class Sunday November 12th in the afternoon.
