Teen Dance Team
Teen Dance Team is a new opportunity for middle + high school dancers to join a team that performs and competes frequently! Practice will be held once a week on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30pm, starting November 7 thru May 14. The team will focus on a hip hop routine and will perform at halftime of basketball games throughout the winter and will compete at 2-3 competitions (March and April) in Sioux Falls and Brookings, as well as performing at the MADS Spring Recital May 18. Focus will be flexibility, conditioning, jumps, pirouettes, turns, splits, leaps, illusions, walkovers, and more! Open to all- no experience is necessary.
AGE: 12-18yrs (age determined as of August 31, 2023).
COSTUME: $85
COMPETITION FEE: $85 fee per dancer, per competition
PERFORMANCES: 1 routine at 2-3 competitions. 1 routine at basketball game halftime shows, 1 routine at our Competitive Dance Fundraiser Show, 1 routine at our Spring Recital. *More fundraising opportunities will be available to offset competition costs.
