Pre-Ballet: [3 -4 yrs. old]: 30 mins: Students will enjoy expressing themselves through the art of dance in this fun and interactive class. This class is built on the basic movements learned in the Creative Movement class but is still appropriate for the first-time dancer. At this level, students will learn ballet skills through imagination activities, movement games, and singing. Dancers will enjoy learning basic ballet terminology along with fun and engaging games.​

These students are on a beginning level of dance. They will be knowledgeable of the basic ballet terminology and have the ability to execute the movements by name. On a weekly basis they will be expanding there growth in terminology, flexibility, and technique.

Shining Artist: Ages 9 + yrs or what is suggested by the teacher.
Requires up to 2* yrs of dance training or prior approval of teacher. Or qualifies by age. These students are on an beginning- intermediate level of their ballet training. They have a vast concept of the ballet terminology and can execute the movements by name with physical structural accuracy. On a weekly basis they will be expanding there growth in terminology, flexibility, and technique.

Joyful : Ages 11 yrs or what is suggested by the teacher.

Ballet & Tap Basics : [5-6 yrs. old]: 45 mins: Students will enjoy expressing themselves through the art of dance in this fun and interactive class. This class is built on the basic movements learned in the Pre-Ballet class but is still appropriate for the first-time dancer. At this level, students will further their knowledge in ballet and begin to lay a proper Ballet foundation. Dancers will learn and remember basic ballet terminology and will began to execute the movement clearly.

Musical Theater Jazz & Tap: [7- 10yrs. old] 60.mins: Students will learn the fundamentals of Jazz such as icsolations and flexibility. The tap portion of the class will concentrate on developing patterns and rhythms, together they will develop student's balance skills.

Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Therefore, class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements.

These students are on beginning level of their ballet training. They have a vast concept of the ballet terminology and can execute the movements by name with physical structural accuracy. This week will enhance the flexibility, tone , strengthen the muscles of the student to progress their technique as a dancer. Acro dance seamlessly fuses elements of lyrical and gymnastic such as balancing, tumbling, and jazz. Students learn acrobatic tricks such as handstands, cartwheels, chest stands, elbow stands, walkovers, side and front aerials, and tumbling lines.

Therefore, class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements.

This course begins April 12th and ends in June with a recital performance!
