Below is a list of the classes offered at our studio. Students can enroll in classes according to their age level. Based on observation from teachers students can be moved up or down a level based on what would best meet your dancers needs. Dance Girl Moves I (HBCU Style)
This class is full
In this section dancers will begin to learn the fundamentals of HBCU Dance and Baton twirling. Stands, Jazz walks, choreography and strengthening/conditioning. This class will focus more on mastering different techniques and methods of hbcu dance as choreography will come later into the season.

Originating in the Bronx, Hip Hop blends urban social and street dances from the 70’s to current day in an edgy mix of isolations, locking, popping, freestyle and athletic movements done to the latest and freshest music. Students will also be given the opportunity to create choreography.

Junior/Senior level of HBCU Dance Style will build upon fundamentals from level I & II. Students enrolled in this class will begin to create more scopes of work along with exploration of teaching the style within the community. There will be a heavy focus on baton twirling and dance technique within this genre of dance.

Does your little one love to move and dance? This class will give your little dancer a basic introduction to ballet steps and positions, while enhancing their motor skills and coordination with fun exercises in music qualities and rhythms, story-telling with movement, and free dance with various props.

Mini Ballet/Jazz Combo
This class is full
Contemporary ballet class accompanied by a range of music from classical to popular to show tunes. The class will focus on the fundamental positions, technique and terminology and is designed to develop strength, balance, and artistry in the young dancer.

One of the most popular and well known forms of dance. Jazz dance includes strength, flexibility and conditioning technique and progressions including turns, kicks and leaps. In a Jazz class the dancers also learn many fun and trendy dance steps that are used for all forms of dance. It is a wonderful class to get a well rounded variety of all dance steps. Dancers will learn choreography to popular and age appropriate music of today along with vintage styles of jazz from the last decades. This is a perfect class to start your dance training.

Tiny Ballet/Jazz Combo
Introduce your little dancer to the beautiful art of ballet! This class will enhance your child's coordination, balance and flexibility with the teaching of basic ballet positions, steps, and terminology through standing barre work and simple center floor exercises. Your child will also enjoy simple and fun exercises in creative dance and music exploration.

Tumbling II
Students continue honing their basic tumbling skills. More conditioning exercises are introduced. Basic apparatus skills such as hanging, chin-ups, and pull ups, are taught to develop upper body strength. Safety mats are routinely used to allow students more repetitions on a soft and safe forgiving surface.

Class focuses on perfecting body shapes, jumps, rolls, handstands, bridges, back bends, kick overs, cartwheels, round offs, safety falls, body control, strength building, flexibility, intro to backhand springs. Front and back handsprings and somersaults are introduced.
DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY IS IMPLEMENTED IN TUMBLE CLASS.

This class takes the knowledge gained through Tap 1 & Tap 2 and combines them to create new rhythms and beats as well as constructing combinations and working on improvisation. Taking from classic tap styles as well as current "street" tap, this class is for the more intermediate/advanced tappers. At least one year of Tap 2 or previous tap experience is required.
