Since the 1950s jazz has evolved from a traditional dance with Caribbean roots into a performing art. It grew on Broadway into the new, smooth style that is taught today. JAZZ is one of the most popular styles because it’s energetic and fun: it has unique moves, fancy footwork, big leaps and quick turns. Every dancer interprets the moves and steps in their own way making Jazz unique for each artist.
