COMBO is for the beginning or continuing student. Students learn the basics of ballet, as they gain poise, posture and grace. Tap rhythmics are very helpful at this age. Children learn how to count music, they are reinforced by sounds they make, and they learn how their movements fit into music. This is a great starter class as it gives the student a taste of each dance form for preference and skill level. Students enrolled in this class must adhear to our dress code and ettiquette policy to participate.

Our classical BALLET program was designed to bring training of the highest artistic standards to our students. Classes stress proper body placement and use of the terminology - the special language of Ballet. Students are given a lengthy barre to establish proper body alignment, turnout and increase foot and ankle strength. Since the fundamentals of all major dance forms come from Ballet, it's study is recommended for all serious dance students.
PREREQUISITE:
Students must have a minimum of 6 or more years' experience and must be taking 2 ballet classes per week in addition to this class.

Classes stress proper body placement and use of the terminology - the special language of Ballet. Students are given a lengthy barre to establish proper body alignment, turnout and increase foot and ankle strength. Our Conditioning class focuses on increasing a dancer's flexibility and mobility with proper warm-up and deep stretching, in addition to increasing a dancer's stamina, strength and repertoire of performance skills. Students will learn different leaps and jumps with the use of proper abdominal support and body control and a variety of turns focusing on using proper alignment and their 'center.' This will give the dancer a substantial advantage in today's demanding choreography.

ACTING
ACTING classes invite each student to work as a part of an ensemble. Through warm ups, group work, and performance assignments, students explore the creative use of body and voice, developing a sense of confidence in front of others. The class climate is safe, fun, and dynamic. Games are designed to heighten kinesthetic awareness and strengthen listening skills. Our curriculum includes: introductory activities, speech, verbal dynamics, creative movement, language development, structured improvisation, dialogue development, snippets, scene starters, mini-scripts, workshop presentations, and end of year productions.
