Welcome to Dussich Dance Studio

Our Story
Dussich Dance Studio opened its doors in Cocoa Beach, FL back in 1958, with only 25 students by owner, Liz Bevilacqua. In 1983, the studio relocated to its current location in Merritt Island, FL in order to acquire a facility that was more centrally located and larger to accommodate all students. Dussich Dance Studio is a member of the Brevard Cultural Alliance and the Dance Community of Brevard. We also support the Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts and Eastern Florida State College. Our dance faculty are certified members of professional dance organizations and attend workshops, conventions and competitions throughout the year in order to continue their own dance education and knowledge.
Our Philosophy
For students to learn that dance is fun as well as physically and mentally rewarding. We believe in developing "THE WHOLE DANCER" with not only our curriculum, but also in our guidance in health, nutrition and performance techniques both on and off the dance floor.
Our Motto
DANCE IS OUR PASSION...and is a healthy and happy pastime, which is why we do what we do. The rewards from dance can last a lifetime! Our classes are structured to teach the very young, as well as the young at heart. The limitations are few but the benefits are many!
