You must be over 18 to register for an account and agree to our terms and conditions for enrolling at Convergence Dance Studios.
CDS policies: 1. Tuition is issued and charged to your DSP account monthly, this is processed on the 1st of each month. 2. Your secure DSP account is part of your Dance Studio Portal. This can be easily accessed via our CDS App or your portal link, which you will receive upon enrolment. 3. You must upload your preferred debit or credit card details to DSP. It is this card that will be charged on the 1st of every month. 4. A 5% surcharge will be added to the original total of the invoice if the account is unable to be charged or remains unpaid. 5. Further action through a debt collection agency will be taken if an account remains unpaid and no contact or payment has been made. 6. If you wish to set up an alternative payment plan you must email CDS on invoicescds@gmail.com at least four weeks prior to the beginning of each term when class alterations are due. 7. We offer a fantastic referral bonus, refer a friend and receive a $30 credit to your DSP account. 8. Our fees have been divided over 12 months for ease of budgeting. 9. Each Term is comprised of 3 monthly payments, for example: Term 1 = Jan, Feb, March. 10. Our fees are based on an eight-week structure to allow for variances in the New Zealand school term times, and compensate for various public holidays etc. So often, you are paying for eight weeks and receiving ten or eleven. Therefore if a student is sick or unable to attend there are no recompenses. 11. You are able to update your account details at any time. 12. Pro-rata discounts are given to new students commencing after the third week of term. 13. Students who have been awarded scholarships, if leaving mid-term (part time) or mid-year (full time), must refund the total amount of the scholarship they have received. 14. When a 60 minute class has less than 6 students in attendance, the class will run for 45 minutes. 15. A terms notice must be given for any alteration or intention of leaving when enrolled in any of our Aspire / NZYBC intensive training programmes. 16. Alterations and withdrawals from the part-time school require written notice by the cut off date(s) listed below and in the Prospectus. Term 1 alteration date for term 2: 20th March Term 2 alteration date for term 3: 20th June Term 3 alteration date for term 4: 20th September Term 4 alteration date for term 1 2025: 20th December
To ensure your classes and studios run as smoothly as possible our enrolments are continuous. This means you must inform us of alterations or withdrawals by the dates outlined in your prospectus. This allows us to make timetable changes ahead of time and plan classes for your children. If we do not receive this in writing via email you will be invoiced for the following term. Our wait listed students are also contacted at this point and offered places or are told there are no places available. Thank you for acknowledging your understanding of these important policies.
