By participating in PACE classes, you agree to assume the risk involved in participating in instruction at PACE, in your home or other non-studio location, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Performing Arts Connection & Education, its owners, faculty and staff from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, illness, including death, that may be sustained by the participant while in the facility or being instructed.
SCHOOL CALENDAR: We follow the Wood County School Calendar for major holiday closings.
ABSENCES: To ensure a complete dance education and continued growth, regular class attendance is essential. Missed classes are not refunded but can always be made up in another class offering of the same level/age.
DANCE ATTIRE is required for ballet classes only. Proper dance shoes and comfortable work out attire for all other classes is fine. Form-fitting clothes do enable the teacher to properly observe the student's body movements for correct form and technique. Hair should be pulled off the face. Please do not wear dangling jewelry as it is a hazard. Dance shoes should only be worn inside the studio. Street shoes are not permitted on the dance floor. Please see the PACE dress code for detailed information.
FOOD POLICY: No food or drinks are allowed in the classrooms. Water is OK.
PERSONAL ITEMS: Please label all personal items & keep the lobby clean for parents by taking your dance bags and shoes to the break rooms or place on the back wall of your dance room. Turn cell phones to vibrate. PACE is not responsible for personal items lost, stolen, or damaged. We deliver unclaimed items to Good Will in November & May.

PLACEMENT: Dance is a cumulative learning process and everyone progresses at a different rate. It is the instructor's duty to evaluate students & reach out to a parent if there is a need to move a dancer up or down a level based on technique and ability. Parents are welcome to request an evaluation of student progress. Classes are filled on a first-come/first-serve basis and class schedules and staff are subject to change without notice.
