Release of Liability:
I hereby release, discharge, covenant not to sue, and agree to indemnify and save and hold harmless each of JBP entertainment/Midtown Ballroom from all liability claims, demands, losses, or damages on the student's account caused or alleged to be caused, in whole or in part by the negligence of JBP entertainment, Midtown Ballroom or otherwise, including negligent rescue operations. I further agree that if, despite this release, I, the student or anyone on the student's behalf makes a claim against any of the releasees named above, I will indemnify, save, and hold harmless JBP Entertainment, Midtown Ballroomr from any litigation expenses, attorney fees, loss liability, damage, or any cost that may occur as the result of any such claim.
1. Studio Policies:
Please review and agree to our studio policies: Tuition-Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and late by the 6th. No tuition will be refunded for any reason. Full tuition for each month is due regardless of how many weeks are in the month this includes December and May. Late fees will be applied on the 6th. No exceptions.
3. Send your student(s) to the studio prepared for class- Have the student(s) dressed in the necessary equipment. Â A Last minute trip to the restroom is necessary and appreciated.
4. Before and after class- Most classes start as a class ends. Please gather your child and be prepared to leave the building after class is over. Please be courteous to the class that comes after your class is over.
7. Communication- The preferred method of communication is through emailing our Director Jena@JBPEnt.com or calling the studio 704.763.3587. Phone messages may not be returned the same day. Teachers cannot accept calls during class time. No parent or student should email, text, or call JBP staff. All communication is to go through Jena.
Dance wear: Â All students must wear proper dance clothes and shoes in order to participate in class. Â Each class has individual requirements for dance attire. Â The requirements can be found listed on the JBP Entertainment website. Proper cover ups should be worn to and from class. Â No dance shoes should be worn outside of the studio.
Class Preparation: Â Students should come dressed and ready for class. Â Please encourage a final trip to the restroom before entering the classroom. Â Teachers will of course escort students during class if needed; however, it is disruptive and should be avoided if at all possible. Â
Lobby Rules: Â Proper behavior is expected at all times by students, siblings, parents, etc. No running, horseplay, acrobatics, loud voices, etc. Â Students should sit quietly in the hallway prior to class using their "inside voices". Respect should be given to all classes in session. Â There are other clients and pros sharing the studios at Midtown Ballroom. Students and Parents are representatives of JBP Entertainment. Â We expect excellent manners at all times. Â
Food and Drink: Please be courteous when bringing food and beverages inside Midtown Ballroom. We realize snacks and some meals are necessary at times, however, all trash should be disposed of properly. Re-sealable water bottles are permitted and encouraged.
Opening Class Doors: Â Please Respect our instructors. All classes are closed sessions. Do not open the door during class. Â Please wait patiently in the hall. Â The instructor will open the doors once class is over.
Observation: Â There will be a parent/student party at the end of the first semester where all students will perform in a casual setting to celebrate their progress. Additional dates may be scheduled by JBP Entertainment. Â Outside of these dates, Please do not expect to be in the classroom. Â It is distracting to the student and the instructor.
Parent Student/Teacher/Relations: Â Instructors may be contacted via email. (Jena@JBPEnt.com) Please do not try and communicate with instructors in between classes. Â There is no break between scheduled classes. Â Our instructors would like to give your questions/concerns the proper attention. Â Email will be checked each evening and will be responded to within the next business day.
Phone Calls: Â A Message for any instructor may be left on the studio office answering service. Please text to inform instructors if a student will be absent.
Illness: Â Parents are advised to keep their students at home for the following conditions: Any viral or bacterial infections, (i.e. severe cough with mucus, difficulty in breathing, fever, infected skin or eyes, undiagnosed rash, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting, suspected lice, and anything else that may be passed easily to students or instructors.)
Please communicate with JBP Entertainment to inform us of any special needs your child may have or of any reoccurring health issues. Â We consider your children to be part of our family and want to provide special attention when needed.
Inclement weather: Â JBP Entertainment follows the CMS Public School System in canceling classes. Classes canceled due to inclement weather or natural disasters WILL NOT be made up.
Insurance: Â JBP Entertainment/Midtown Ballroom does not provide insurance. Proof of personal insurance must be provided at the time of registration. JBP Entertainment/Midtown Ballroom will not be held responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses, that may occur while in participation in the JBP Entertainment Dance or Acrobatics program. Â A student's personal policy will be the only form of reimbursement.Â
